Comic Book Nation: Lectures on American History, Culture, and Society as Seen Through Classic Comic Books

As part of my regular podcast series – “The American Studies and History Podcast” – I have been producing a series of fun lectures which look at the link between classic comic books and the changing nature of American culture and society.  These lectures have been designed to be accessible, fun, and informative, and I hope that they provide you with a different perspective on the fictional characters which link today’s block buster films with yesterday’s pulp fiction.  As America and the world has changed, so too has its depiction with its heroes and villains and in this series I hope to show you why that has been the case.
